Luke Pulsford
Luke is the founder of aisecuritysearch.io and securitysearch.io, two specialist brands at the intersection of cybersecurity, AI security, and emerging risks. With over thirteen years of experience, Luke has supported organizations across the spectrum, from early-stage start-ups and security scale-ups, PE Firms (and their PortCos), to FTSE 100 giants and Fortune 500 firms.
Luke's journey into cybersecurity talent began in 2013, during a pivotal shift in the technology landscape shaped by big data, cloud adoption, and mobile-first innovation. In 2019, Luke placed one of the UK’s earliest enterprise AI security leaders - a Head of Digital & Emerging Risk (AI) for a leading asset management firm.
But Luke’s connection to technology runs deeper than his career. From a young age, he was captivated by emerging tech, inspired by stories from his late grandfather, John Pulsford, a computing pioneer in the 1950s and 60s. John led engineering and deployment teams at LEO Computers (Lyons Electronic Office), creators of the world’s first commercial business computer, and later known as ICL (International Computers Limited).
John's work helped lay the foundation for modern enterprise systems; at the very same time early ideas around artificial intelligence were being born in academic and research circles. That legacy of systems thinking, experimentation, and responsible innovation shaped Luke’s mission: to support the next generation of talent tackling the risks and rewards of AI at scale.
In 2023, Luke launched securitysearch.io and aisecuritysearch.io in response to surging demand for talent across AI assurance, GenAI risk, and AI Security readiness. Luke's work now spans both sides of the Atlantic, partnering with enterprise security leaders, AI-native scale-ups, and security product vendors to build world-class teams.
A commited lifelong learner, Luke has completed AIS247 and is currently pursuing the Certified AI Security Professional (CAISP) and an Executive Diploma in AI Leadership.
